People with diabetes are more prone to tooth decay and periodontal disease

According to the Atlas of Oral Health in Spain 2022 , it is estimated that there are 5.5 million diabetic Spaniards, which places us as the second country in Europe with the most people with diabetes. On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, which is celebrated today, the General Council of Dentists recalls that people with this disease are more predisposed to have cavities and periodontal disease.

The General Council of Dentists warns about the increase in the consumption of nitrous oxide for recreational use

The fashion of consuming nitrous oxide, which has already been reported by the General Council of Dentists, has increased in recent times. Its consumption is taking place through whipped cream cans, where this gas is present to achieve the effect of foam.
