Sleep deprivation among young people increases cases of bruxism, persistent fatigue, headaches and jaw tension.
Every night, thousands of teenagers in Spain go to bed without having reached the minimum recommended sleep hours for their age. Getting a good night's sleep is no longer a part of adolescence. The data confirms this: in 2010, 75% of young people between the ages of 11 and 18 were getting the right amount of sleep. In 2022, that percentage plummeted to 25%, representing a drop of more than 66% in just one decade.
