Do you think you brush your teeth enough? and what do you do well? It is something that we all think we do well, although in reality no one has probably ever taught us to brush our teeth.

This daily gesture has its secrets and a series of guidelines must be followed if we do not want to encounter dental pathologies of various kinds, from cavities to tartar or infections, not to mention the obvious aesthetic problems derived from incorrect brushing.


We should brush our teeth at least twice a day and at most every time we finish eating. The ideal being three times a day and the most important brushing before going to bed.


The ideal is to use soft or medium bristles, never hard bristles because nobody controls the force they exert when brushing their teeth well and it can be counterproductive, for example, for the gums.


The ideal thing is to use an electric toothbrush with a round rotating head because it is not only time but also how we do it, and with this tool it is easier to reach all parts of the mouth.
