The General Council of Dentists of Spain reminds that all possible measures must be used to intensify the promotion of oral health and prevention messages, in order to reduce the accumulation of pathologies. At the same time, health institutions must guarantee continued and equitable access to essential oral health services, as well as adequate personal protective equipment (PPE), thus avoiding an even greater overload of health systems in the future.

For all this, the WHO statement is considered inappropriate, due to its imprecision and generalization, coinciding with the FDI and the CED in that "there is no single solution for all situations and that, therefore, the guidelines issued should prevail in different national contexts ". "
