The General Council of Dentists and the Spanish Dental Foundation (FDE) are launching a new series of 8 educational videos on oral hygiene, which are now available for download at this link on the Council's official website https://consejodentistas.es/comunicacion/videos/ and will also be published progressively on their social networks.

This initiative aims to provide the general population with clear and accurate information on the correct use of various oral hygiene utensils, including:

• Electric toothbrush.
• Manual toothbrush.
• Interdental brush.
• Dental floss.
• Mouthwashes.
• Irrigators.
• Tongue scraper.
• Fluoride toothpaste.

The videos have been created by dental professionals and show animated illustrations with detailed instructions on the correct use of each utensil in simple and accessible language, helping citizens to improve their oral hygiene habits.

Dr. Óscar Castro, president of the General Council of Dentists, highlights the importance of this initiative: "Our goal is to provide the population with information based on scientific evidence, dispelling myths about oral health that circulate on social media."

The launch of these videos adds to the ongoing efforts of the General Council of Dentists and the Spanish Dental Foundation to promote oral health in Spain, where 1 in 4 Spaniards still do not maintain adequate oral hygiene habits.
