Presented the new Code of Medical Ethics in the Parliament of Andalusia
This Monday, the Parliament of Andalusia welcomed the presentation of the new Code of Medical Ethics, an event attended by the Andalusian Council of Colleges of Dentists, represented by the president of the College of Dentists of Seville, Dr. Rafael Flores.

The event, which was chaired by the president of the Parliament of Andalusia, Jesús Aguirre, and the Minister of Health of the Government of Andalusia, Catalina García, also had the participation of the president of the General Council of Medical Colleges (CGCOM) , Tomás Cobo, and the president of the Andalusian Council of Medical Colleges, Jorge Fernández Parra.

All the Andalusian health councils have been present.

The new Code of Medical Ethics was approved by the General Assembly of the General Council of Physicians and is at the forefront of the most modern codes in the world due to its content and development:

The content ranges from some aspects that have historically been part of the deontological roadmap, such as professional secrecy, conscientious objection and the relationship with patients to more current aspects such as telemedicine, artificial intelligence, the patient's medical history, sexuality or safety.
